Dog blood is native to the Americas. The plant is very short, bearing red berries and features white flowers. It can also be found in the Caribbean. Preparation
Add 7 to 9 grams of herb to 36 ounces of boiling water and let boil for 5 minutes. Allow mixture to cool and strain, then store in a container in the refrigerator. Drink 3 to 4 ounces for a period of 9 days.
